Kota Students Wait for NEET 2017 Results; Admissions Likely to be Delayed

Kota Students Wait for NEET 2017 Results; Admissions Likely to be Delayed

Medical aspirants from Kota – the coaching hub of India – are anxious regarding the delay in NEET 2017 results. Students looking forward to taking admission in medical programmes are waiting for the results of National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2017.

Aditya Singhania, a medical aspirant from Chhattisgarh’s Korba, said that he is waiting for the result eagerly as he performed well in the exam and is expecting a good rank. However, the delay in results is making him nervous, he added. Aditya also added that he wanted to resume his studies as soon as possible.

Shubhangi Gupta, another NEET aspirant from Asansol, West Bengal, said that she is expecting a good score in the exam and is getting restless while waiting for the results. She also said that she was worried when NEET got dragged in a court case and authorities were contemplating a retest. Shubhangi, like thousands of other students, is now waiting for the NEET 2017 result.

Kota-based Tushar Gupta also talked about the delay in declaration of results and said that the admission process will also be affected by this.

Parijat Mishra, Academic Counsellor at a leading medical coaching institute, said that in the desperation to get more updates regarding the results, students visit the institute regularly. Mishra also added that most of the students are expecting good results in the NEET 2017 exam.
