KU PG Counselling Commenced

The PG counselling of Krishna University was commenced on 19-May-2016 at KBN College, Vijayawada. The University arranged a grand inaugural session for counselling at KBN College auditorium. The chief guest of the occasion was ZP Chairperson, G. Anuradha. She logged on the University website and launched the web counselling. On this occasion she addressed the gathering.

She said, “Now-a-days most of the students are going for B.Tech/M.Tech courses and confined themselves to the mechanical life. There are few students who are opting PG courses. It is good that the demand for PG courses hasn’t been declined due to the influence of engineering courses. The students who have PG are also getting employment opportunities on par with engineering students. The students are trained at colleges in soft skills”. She appreciated Krishna University for organizing Soft skills training program at 40 Degree colleges of Krishna District.

Vice Chancellor of University, Acharya Rama Krishna said, “The counselling is being conducted to fill 2,900 seats in 160 colleges affiliated to Krishna University. The counselling will continue till 23-May-2016”.

Admission letters were given to Tap-10 rankers of KU PGCET by the chief guest. The entire counselling process will be web based. The inaugural session was attended by management of KBN College, parents, students, print and electronic media.
