Students who are applying to Lucknow University's (LU) various courses need not carry cash for submitting their admission fee during counselling, as the university will now also accept payments through debit and credit cards.
According to the admission coordinator, Anil Mishra candidates seeking weightage or sub category reservation have to get their certificates verified on the day of the admission test, after their exam.
The details about the verification process will be available from May 23 along with the admit cards. Candidates would have to bring their original certificates and self-attested photocopies of the related documents, along with a printout of the application form. Those who have sought any weightage or sub category in their application form but do not appear for verification will not be given the benefit claimed.
LU is organised into more than 146 colleges, and institutes, located throughout the city and other surrounding areas.
