Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell releases a seat matrix for the provisional number of vacant seats for which the respective round will be conducted. Before this, the CET Cell also displayed the cutoffs for the previous rounds. Going through the seat vacancies and cutoff allows the candidates to enlist the best institute choices for them as per their merit rank.
The vacancy seat matrix provides details about the total number of vacant seats available under a particular institute and its further division under various reservation quotas. - It is recommended that you exercise ten or more options available at your merit range to avoid not getting a seat or improving the one that is currently available.
- Using the vacant seat matrix, check if any seats are available for round 2 for the colleges that you have listed.
