Maharashtra DSE Option Form 2022 CAP Round 1 Released: Link, Last Date, Important Instructions

Maharashtra DSE Option Form 2022 CAP Round 1 is now out and the link for the same is active at dse2022.mahacet.org.in while the direct link to it is provided below. The option form is accessible to registered candidates using their counselling application number and password. Through the online option form, the candidates will have to input their institute-branch preferences based on which the allotments will be made. The last date to submit the option form is November 04, 2022.

Once logged in, the candidates will first have to list out all the college-branch combinations at which they wish to take admission by selecting a respective branch and university. It is advised to list out as many colleges as they want to avoid not getting a seat. A maximum of 300 unique college-branch combinations can be entered. Once the colleges are listed, allot preference numbers one by one.

The important dates for Maharashtra DSE counselling round 1 are as follows. The same schedule is applicable for Diploma as well as B.Sc students.

Instructions for Maharashtra DSE Option Form 2022 CAP Round 1

Important guidelines to fill out the option form are enlisted below:

• Refer to the previous year’s cutoff to list out the college-branch combinations in your merit range. It is advised to enter at least 10 option preferences from your merit range to avoid non-allotment.
• Extra caution shall be exercised while entering Preference #1 choice. If your first preference is allotted, the seat will be auto-freezed and the candidate will be ineligible for further counselling rounds.
• Option form submission is a mandatory activity. If a candidate does not fill out the option form, he/she will summarily be disqualified for that respective counselling round.
• While selecting the college-branch options, the number in the leftmost column is Serial Number and not Preference Number.
• The preference Number will be shown in the rightmost column as per the order selected by the candidate.
• Maharashtra DSE option form can be saved and edited any number of times within the given dates. But once the form is confirmed by OTP verification, the option form cannot be edited later.
• Once the deadline is crossed, the option form will be locked as saved on the server before.
• As after long sessions of login, the candidate will be auto-logged out. Therefore, it is advised to note down the option preferences before making the submission. Also, it is also advised to not wait until the deadline for filling out the option form for same reason and server problems as well.
