The authority will publish the Maharashtra DSE Provisional merit ranks based on the diploma marks of the candidates. The assignment of merit ranks will based on the tie-breaking criteria decided by the conducting authority. If two or more candidates obtained the same marks in their Diploma qualifying examination, then the CET Cell will first consider the SSC total marks. If the tie still persists, then the rank will be decided, followed by SSC Maths marks, SSC Science marks, and finally SSC English marks. If the tie is still not resolved, then the candidate older in age will get a higher ranking.
The authority will release the Maharashtra DSE provisional merit list in a downloadable PDF format. This list will contain key information such as serial number, application ID, candidate’s name, gender, qualifying examination marks, category, and other relevant details. As the list is provisional, candidates have the opportunity to raise grievances if they identify any discrepancies or errors. To do so, they must log in through the official website and submit their grievances between July 24 and July 26, 2025, by 5 PM. It is crucial for candidates to adhere to this deadline, as no grievance requests will be accepted beyond this period.
While submitting a grievance, candidates must upload valid and supporting documents to justify their correction request. Once submitted, they can check the status of their grievance, whether accepted or rejected, and are advised to download and print the updated receipt or acknowledgement.
Candidates who opted for the physical scrutiny mode must resolve their issues by visiting the nearest Scrutiny Centre (SC) in person. After reviewing and incorporating all necessary corrections, the final Maharashtra DSE merit list will be published on July 29, 2025.
