The District Employment Office of Krishna District conducted Mega Job Fair at Government ITI College, Vijayawada on 6-May-2016. The Job Fair was supervised by District Employment Officer, V. Susmitha Priya.
The Mega Job Fair evoked a good response as a total number of 200 candidates attended from Krishna District. The Interviews were conducted for B.A / B.Sc. / B.Tech./ ITI and Intermediate pass outs of 2013-2016 academic years. A total number of 14 Private companies from Vijayawada and Guntur conducted the interviews. The following companies attended the Job Fair:-
- Navata Road Transport
- Varun Training Institute
- Gram Tarang
- PVR Cinemas
- Profit Shoe Company
- Pranav Global Solutions
- Hinduja Global Solutions
- Reddy’s Foundation and many more
The representatives of the company conducted interviews. Out of 200 candidates 45 were placed in the interviews. The selected candidates were given appo0intment letters by the district employment office.
V. Susmitha Priya said that, “We are planning to conduct another Job Fair in the last week of May. Usually we conduct Job Fair twice or thrice a month. The Andhra Pradesh government has directed to conduct Job Mela thrice a month. The selected candidates are offered annual packages ranging from Rs.1,00,000 to Rs.3,00,000. We are palniing to invite more companies in the coming months”.
