MHRD Minister Awards CBSE Teachers Award 2018 to 35 Teachers

The Central Board of Secondary Education has conferred 35 teachers with the Teacher’s Award 2018. MHRD Minister has conferred the awards to the teachers. He had also announced the launch of several initiatives, including Vidyadan and 10 CBSE Manuals for better education.

MHRD Minister Awards Teachers Award

On 12th September 2019, 35 teachers and principals from different schools of the Central Board of Secondary Education were awarded the Teacher’s Award 2018. Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has conferred the awards to the teachers. Along with conferring awards, the Minister also announced the launch of Vidyadan, a CBSE portal on the Diksha App (Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing) and also released the CBSE annual activity calendar.

At the event, the Human Resource Development Minister also released a total of 10 CBSE manuals on different topics. Among the manuals, Enjoyable Teaching and Learning of Mathematics, Art Integration, New Initiatives, 10+2 Post Academic Courses, Artificial Intelligence, Eco-club and Water Conservation, Experimental Learning are some of the topics that will be covered in the manuals.

The event was also attended by the State Minister for Human Resource Development, Mr. Sanjay Dhotre, who was also the Guest of Honour. While addressing the teachers he stated that education should be able to cater to the individual needs of the students as each student possesses unique and individual characteristics. This will further help the students be more confident and strong and are able to guide themselves to build themselves a bright stable future.

While conferring the awards, HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriya congratulated the teachers for their impeccable work and dedication. He stated that the awards that had been conferred to them were a denotation of their hard work. He further encouraged the teachers to develop an environment that promotes positivity with quality as well as inculcates values that are aligned with the current and future requirements of the students.
