MHT CET PCM 2024 New Date (Image Credits: Pexels)MHT CET PCM 2024 New Date: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra will be sharing the revised dates for MHT CET 2024 (PCM Group) of the May 5 examination soon. The CET Cell has postponed the exam for the PCM group on May 5 as it is clashing with the NEET UG Exam scheduled on the same date. Regarding the same, the CET Cell put a notice on its official website, reading, "All students and parents should note that MHT CET (PCM Group) exam will not be conducted on 05-05-2024 as NEET – UG exam is on 05-05-2024. MHT CET PCM 2024 Exam Date to be Revised Again
Earlier, the CET Cell shifted the dates of the MHT CET 2024 examination after the schedule of General Elections 2024 was announced. However, the exam schedule is expected to be postponed again for the May 5 exam. NTA has already announced to conduct the NEET UG exam 2024 on May 5, 2024. Hence, the candidates who have registered for both of these tests face a clash and cannot opt out of either of the examinations. Hence, considering such requests, the CET Cell has decided postponing the paper on that day.
MHT CET examination for the PCM group is to be held on multiple dates i.e. May 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 15, and 16, 2024. Although the exam for the PCB group is scheduled earlier on April 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30, 2024.
Due to this sudden clash, we expect the exam for May 5 is expected to be conducted after May 16, 2024, on a day that does not collide with any other national entrance exam or the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. The candidates are expected to keep a closer look at the official website for any change in the exam schedule and any further updates about the Maharashtra CET exam 2024.
