MHT CET Seat Matrix 2022: State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra has released MHT CET CAP Round 1 seat matrix 2022 on October 12 at fe2022.mahacet.org, and the direct link to download can also be checked here. The seat matrix details the total number of seats available for admissions through CAP at each institute in a branch-wise, category-wise, and gender-wise manner. Based on the MHT CET seat matrix released today, the seat allotment for CAP round 1 will be made, while for the subsequent rounds, the vacancies will be reduced as the allotments take place.
Along with the seat matrix, the final merit list was published. Going through the cutoffs at their desired institutes, candidates shall also refer to the seat matrix to know their probable chances of admission for listing out their choice-filling options. The option form for choice-filling will be released on October 13 and will close on October 15.

When the option form is out, candidates should refer to the MHT CET seat matrix for noting down the ‘Choice Code’. A Choice Code is a unique number assigned to each unique institute-branch preference. Moreover, a different choice code is given for the same institute-branch preference under the TFWS facility. Thus, candidates are advised to exercise extra caution while entering the choice codes during the option form filling.
MHT CET Seat Matrix 2022: How to Check?
In order to check your preferred institute in the seat matrix, go through the following steps:
Step 1: Download and open MHT CET Seat Matrix PDF given above.
Step 2: If using a mobile device, use the ‘Search’ option in the PDF viewer and if using a computer, use Ctrl + F keys to search your preferred college name.
Step 3: Enter the full name of the college and scroll down to find your preferred branch. It is to be noted that, the short form of the college name will not display results.
Step 4: Note down the Choice Code for the institute-branch preference and separately for TFWS, if required.
