The students who took NEET I & II examination pointed out that there are mistakes in the answer key released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Students noted that there are three mistakes in the question paper, two in Chemistry section and one in Biology section. The answer key was released on August 8, 2016.

According to the pattern of examination, every correct answer is awarded four marks, and one mark is deducted for every wrong answer. The Association of Medical Students (PAMS) demanded the CBSE will have to take these mistakes into consideration. The board allowed the students to challenge the answer key till August 11.

The officials announced that the questions would be looked into by experts committee. Most of the students opined that each mark carries importance and can further change ranks
The results for the both phases of NEET examination will be announced on August 17, 2016. However, students have to wait for some time to get clarity on the issue raised regarding answer key.
