The NTA NEET 2022 exam was held on July 17 in offline mode (pen and paper mode). The candidates had to answer a total of 180 questions out of 200 questions within 200 minutes. NEET 2022 Biology Question Paper Analysis: Marking Scheme
The NEET 2022 Biology paper consisted of 90 questions from Botany and Zoology, each carrying 4 marks, making it a total of 360 marks. As per the NEET 2022 marking scheme, the candidates were rewarded a total of 4 marks for every correct answer, while getting a deduction of one mark for incorrectly marked answers. No marks were given for unanswered questions. The paper was conducted in 13 languages – English, Hindi, Oriya, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Marathi, Assamese, Malayalam, Kannada and Urdu.

NEET 2022 Biology Paper Analysis: Important Highlights (Reaction of Examinees)
The NEET 2022 Biology section was further divided into Zoology and Botany. As per the initial reactions of the candidates, both the sections had easy to moderate levels of questions. The Botany section comprised 26 easy, 19 medium and 5 difficult questions, while the Zoology section had 24 easy, 22 moderate and 5 difficult questions.
All the questions were from the syllabus, most being directly quoted from NCERT books. Chapters on Reproduction, Plan and Animal Kingdom bore a higher weightage. Overall, the Biology paper of NEET 2022 was easy to answer.
