NEET PG 2023 Eligibility Criteria: NEET PG 2023 official notification was released on January 7 along with the detailed schedule. As per the official information bulletin of NEET PG 2023, NBE mentioned that the cutoff date for the completion of the internship is March 31, 2023, However, many aspirants took to social media and expressed concern that most of them are going to be ineligible to appear for the exam.
Delayed academic session because of which delay in completing the internship will make candidates ineligible to appear for NEET PG 2023. The aspirants are requesting the government to extend the internship deadline so that they would be eligible to appear for the exam.

Maharashtra Chapter of the Indian Medical Association Junior Doctors Network wrote to National Medical Commission requesting to extend the internship deadline and revise the eligibility criteria to appear for NEET PG 2023. As per the letter submitted by the association to NMC, almost 75% of candidates will be ineligible to appear for NEET PG 2023 due to the specified internship cutoff date.
The aspirants are requesting the National Medical Commission to extend the internship deadline at least till June so that aspirants from various states will be eligible to appear for NEET PG 2023. The issue is not only with Maharashtra but also aspirants from various states like Telangana, Andhra Pradesh etc are requesting an extension of the internship deadline.
NEET PG 2022 stray counselling is still underway and certain aspirants are still in dilemma about whether they get admission or have to appear for NEET PG 2023. NMC is yet to respond on the issue, and the candidates may expect an update on the issue soon.

NEET PG application form 2023 will be released on January 7, and the last date to register is January 27. The entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on March 5, 2023.
