The Medical Counselling Committee or MCC has released the official schedule for NEET-UG 2017 counselling process on June 23, 2017. The MCC has released the counselling schedule within few hours of the declaration of NEET-UG 2017 results. The board also gave clarity on the NEET-UG 2017 cut-off marks this year. Since most of the states are going to conduct NEET-based admissions, the cut-off for MBBS and BDS courses have been reduced this year.

- Registration for counselling
- Exercising Choices
- Locking choices
- Round 1 Allotment of Seat
- Reporting to allotted institute
- Declaration of vacant seats (after Round 1)
- Round 2 seat allotment process
