NEET UG 2023

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET UG 2023 exam on May 7, 2023. Hence, the candidates are left with less than 5 months before the exam date. If you want to crack the NEET UG exam in one go, then it is necessary to plan strategically and follow the same during revision time. Also, the candidates should avoid certain mistakes, that they usually do while preparing for the exam. Here are the five major mistakes that have been pointed out, identify them and try to rectify them before the NEET UG 2023 exam.

  1.  Most of the time, the candidates underestimate Physics and Chemistry NCERT books for preparing for the respective subjects; hence, it will be the biggest mistake while preparing for NEET UG 2023 exam preparation. Like Biology NCERT, pay equal attention to Physics and Chemistry NCERT books. For instance, few organic and inorganic Chemistry questions are directly asked from the Chemistry NCERT book. Hence, do not leave the subject-wise NCERT books for your NEET 2023 exam preparation.
  2. Students usually read NCERT passively, rather they should read the NCERT book for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology preparation so actively. Read line by line from that book.
  3. Many students avoid practicing the last year’s questions. Unless you solve the previous years’ question papers, you will not be able to identify the most weightage topics and less weightage topics. And you might give extra focus on the less weightage topics while preparing for the exam. Hence, do not skip practicing the previous years’ question paper during the last 4.5 months' revision period.
  4. As far as Biology is a major concern of the NEET exam, not practicing MCQs could be a major mistake in preparation. NEET 2023 is not a theoretical exam, rather it is an MCQ-based exam. Hence, the candidates should not only read the theories, and concepts, but instead, they should practice more MCQs. Solve NCERT-based MCQ questions, to know how much you know or are comfortable to solve the MCQ-based questions.
  5. The last mistake is not solving the associated questions however, it is one of the major trends in coming up with certain associated questions. Therefore, to get a good score, also do not forget to practice the associated based questions during NEET 2023 preparation.
