Top Tips to Ace NEET in 4 Months
Here are the top tips to gear up for NEET exam preparation in 4 months, so that the candidates can get admission to a govt medical college. First, clear your basics of classes 11 and 12. To cope with the preparation during this short period of time, the candidates should study for 2-13 hours every day, dedicatedly. Do not connect with social media during this time, it might distract your focus.
First Month Planning:
- Try to learn one Biology chapter in 5-6 hours. First, go through the chapters from NCERT.
- Also if you learn chapter 1 on your preparation day 1, then again revise the chapter on day 7. It will help you to keep the topics remembered.
- Do not take much time to revise the chapters.
- Try to wrap up 1-1.5 hours to revise each chapter. All the Biology syllabi learning and revision should be done within 1 month.
- 95% of questions of Biology are coming directly from NCERT. Hence, after one month of learning and revision, once you start to appear for the mock test, you can easily score more than 300+ score in Biology, if you read NCERT thoroughly. It will help you to boost your confidence level, since just after a month of NEET 2023 preparation, one is easy enough to score half of the total allotted NEET marks, that is 300+
Second Month Planing:
- Start with Integrated Studies, such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
- In the second month, if you focus on the preparation of Integrated Studies, also make sure on every 7th day of the week, you are revising the Biology chapters.
- In this month, the candidates should solve previous years (past 5 years) Physics and Chemistry questions, so that they will have a clear knowledge about the most weightage topics. For Biology revision, the students can practice from extracted question bank apart from past years' question solve.
Third and Four Month:
- During this period, do not forget to practice full-length mock tests. However, start to solve the mock test only when you completed the practices of the past 5 years' questions within the 3 years time duration.
- Make your own timetable now. Find out your weakness, and which topics or chapters you are lacking in preparation, and give extra focus on these to uplift.
- Make a habit of revising the past 6 days’ topics every 7th day. This strategy is very helpful
