A new international hostel at the south campus of Panjab University was inaugurated on October 2, 2016, by the Governor of Punjab, VP Badnore and Member of Parliament (MP), Chandigarh, MP Kirron Kher.

The hostel has been named after Sarvadaman Chowla, a renowned Mathematician who was also a part of Punjab University in Lahore. It is the first hostel on PU campus with international standard amenities. The hostel consists of 100 residents, and some rooms are kept aside for visiting international faculty and students.

Cool, interesting and funny. An ardent lover of animals and gets a kick out of Chetan Bhagat and Amish Tripathi novels. My favourite novel is 'The God of Small Things' written by Arundathi Roy.
