NEXT Exam Fake Notice Alert: National Medical Council released a public notice related to the NEXT Exam Fake Letter. Later in the afternoon on 7th June 2023, a fake letter started to trend on various social media saying that the NEXT Exam 2023 notification will be released in the mid of 2023. Not only that but the letter also stated that the NEET PG exam has been scrapped. While authorities had proposed a plan to scrap FMGE and NEET PG exams and go ahead with the one coming on NEXT (National Exit Test). But there is no official confirmation related to the NEXT exam released by authorities

NMC has denied releasing any such press note on NEXT (National Exit Test) and has asked the candidate to ignore the same. The fake Notice on NEXT had the official signature, which is the reason why many candidates started to share the letter with others. But in the evening National Medical Council released an official letter on the official website nmc.org.in asking the candidate to stay alert for all the fake information related to the NEXT.

All the official notices will be released on the official website of the National Medical Commission Under the Graduate Medical Education Board i.e. nmc.org.in. Authorities have also asked the students to check the official website before accepting or sharing such notice. However, candidates can expect the announcement related to the NEXT soon as the plan has already been proposed by the official.

Once the National Exit Test is implemented then all the foreign nationals looking to practice medicine in India will have to appear for the exam. The same score will be used for admission into the PG courses. As per the proposed plan if a candidate fails to clear the NEXT exam then he/she can appear for the supplementary exam. The National Exit test will be conducted in two different stages and will follow the same pattern as of NEET PG exam.
