In a recent meeting, the University Coordination Committee of Madhya Pradesh has decided to implement National Service Scheme (NSS) as a mandatory subject in UG courses. Instead of an optional subject, NSS will be included in the foundation course as a mandatory discipline. Until the syllabus is framed, all universities and colleges in Madhya Pradesh will have to include NSS as the second paper of the foundation course.
