The ninth annual convocation of the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) was held on the Kalamassery campus on 19th March
Governor P. Sathasivam delivered the convocation address. While Chief Justice of Kerala Ashok Bhushan presided over the programme. Sixty-four students of the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) course admitted in 2010, 2009 and 2007 batches, seven students of LL.M. admitted in 2012 and 2013 batches, and one student of Ph.D.was being awarded degrees at the convocation.
It is to be noted that a team from NUALS comprising Swarathmika Kumar, Aparna Babu George, and Nidhi Singh has been selected to represent India at the seventh edition of the international Air Law Moot Court competition. An official release said the event gave a unique opportunity for students seeking to gain experience in the development of arguments in the field of international air law.
The competition, jointly organised by the International Institute of Air and Space Law at Leiden University, the Netherlands, and the Sarin Memorial Legal Aid Foundation will be held at Jakarta from April 7 to 10.
