OAMDC Second Phase Allotment 2025 Expected THIS Week: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education is expected to release the OAMDC Second Phase Allotment 2025 soon. However, an official date for the release has not yet been confirmed. Initially, the second phase seat allotment was scheduled for October 10, but many students were unable to upload the necessary documents on the official portal, resulting in a large number of rejected or pending applications. To address this, the council has now activated a provisional link for students to re-upload valid documents. Notably, no specific deadline has been announced for this document re-submission.
A similar issue was observed during the first phase of OAMDC 2025 counselling, where the allotment was delayed three times due to the same problem — students facing technical issues while uploading required documents. These persistent technical glitches on the official portal created difficulties for candidates, preventing them from completing the process within the given timeframe.
So far, there has been no formal communication from the authorities regarding the delay in the second phase allotment. As a result, many students and their parents are anxious about the uncertainty surrounding the admission process and the already delayed academic session.
During the first phase, most students opted to secure admission in autonomous colleges, and only 33% of seats were filled through OAMDC counselling. Due to ongoing confusion and delays in the counselling process, a significant number of students have dropped out and sought alternative academic options. As of early October, the academic calendar has already seen a delay of nearly two months.
Moving forward, it is hoped that the authorities will resolve these technical issues and establish a more consistent and reliable OAMDC counselling process. This would not only improve the admission rate under OAMDC but also restore students' trust in the system. However, if such uncertainty continues, many students may choose to avoid participating in OAMDC counselling altogether. Further improvements from the council could help bring much-needed clarity and relief to students and parents
