P B Siddhartha College of Arts and Science, Vijayawada launched summer courses on 12-April-2016. The courses are being offered to the SSC and Intermediated girl students of Vijayawada and surrounding areas. On this occasion the college management conducted a press meet. The courses are launched by the college in collaboration with women empowerment committee, Vijayawada.
Convener of women empowerment committee, V.Rukmini gave the details of Summer courses. The training will be provided in the following courses:
- Beautician Course
- Certificate course in MS Office
- Computer Skills
- Tally
- Tailoring
- Preparation of Bakery items and
- Spoken English
These courses are especially designed for girls. These courses enable women to live independently. Girl students can indulge themselves in part time jobs by getting trained in various sources. This enables them to earn while they learn.
The training will be given for a period of 30 days and the second batch training starts from 14-May-2016. Girl students those who are interested to take part in the Summer courses can directly register themselves at college administrative office. Admissions for the 1st batch will end on 17-April-2016.
