Pandit Ravishankar University to Conduct Entrance Test for PG Programs
From this academic year admission to any of the postgraduate programs in the School of Studies of Pandit Ravishankar University of Raipur will be on the basis of an entrance examination. Previously they used to admit students on the basis of merit.
For each and every course there will be a different syllabus. Most probably the entrance exam will take place in the month of June. Those who will manage to score well in this examination will get admission irrespective of their graduation percentile.
There are 26 School of Studies which comes under Pt.RSU. According to University, Administration, various departments and colleges are told to conduct the entrance test for admission. They can conduct the entrance examination on their levels. This will help generate quality students and maintain a good reputation.
The syllabus of the test for School of Studies will be decided by the Pt.RSU Officials. There are around 2200 students in School of Studies of RSU. The preparations for the entrance test has started in School of Studies and mostly this exam will be conducted in the first week of June 2016. The dates will be announced soon.

Pt.RSU will soon start the online application process for the entrance exam. This will benefit the students coming from different parts of India. This new implementation will increase the exposure.
