Mone Lal, a porter (coolie) at Bathinda railway station lately claimed to have pursued Bachelor of Technology or B.Tech degree course. Following this, the gates of fortune for Mone Lal were wide open in front of him and he could see a better future waiting for him and his family. A private engineering college offered the 25-year-old a job.
But this is not it! His wife, Niveta Lal was also offered a job at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU) which she can take as soon as she completes her M.Tech in Electronics and Communication next year.

After the B.Tech coolie made it to the headlines and social media channels, he and his wife was then called by the MRSPTU vice-chancellor Prof Mohan Pal Singh Ishar on Monday and were offered a job.
After a few phone calls to the chairman of a private engineering college, the VC set Mone Lal for a job in the college for which he has to report on Wednesday. He then offered Niveta to join MRSPTU once she completes her M.Tech degree.

According to the reports, Mone joined at a Faridkot college for B.Tech (electronics and communication) stream. However, he was unable to find a job in his desired stream and therefore ended up working as a coolie at the Bathinda railway station.
Mone Lal will be appearing for an exam in satellite communications to get his degree in December.
