The Board has made an announcement via Twitter that the Class 9 and 11 exams will be held from March 7 to 19, 2026. Previously, the annual exams for classes 9 and 11 were supposed to begin on April 1, 2026 . The main reason behind the rescheduling of the date is to confirm the time of commencement for the new academic session. So that the new academic session 2026-27 can begin on time. As per the announcement, the Rajasthan Board Class 9 and 11 exam 2026-27 will start on April 1, 2026.
Along with the Rajasthan Board Class 9 and 11 annual exam dates, the board has also rescheduled the result dates as well. More specifically, the Board will declare the Class 9 and 11 results on March 25, 2026 , instead of May 16, 2026.
Rajasthan Board Changed Class 5 and 8 Timetable
Apart from the changes in the annual exam dates of Rajasthan Board Class 9 and 11, the authority has also made a big announcement regarding the Class 5 and 8 annual exams.
- As per the official announcement, the Rajasthan Board Class 5 exams will be conducted between February 20 and March 6, 2026. The Class 5 Mathematics exam will be held on March 6, 2026, from 1.30 PM to 4 PM.
- The Class 8 board exams will be held from February 19 to March 4, 2026.
- The Board has also rescheduled the promotion policy for Classes 5 and 8. If the candidates do not achieve the required passing marks, then they will not be promoted automatically.
- Candidates who will not qualify for the annual exams, they will get a 45-day improvement period, and then they will get another opportunity to pass the exam.
