The research paper presented by the ECE students of St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology was published in the “International Journal of Future Generation Communication and Networking”. On this occasion, the college management conducted a press meet on 5-May-2016 to congratulate the students. HOD of ECE department, Dr. K. Jagadeesh gave the details.
He said, “The final year ECE students N. Vyuha, P. Naga Sai, K. Sahitya, K. Vidya and K. Maheswrara Reddy has done research on “Ultra-wide band not touched monopole antenna with defective ground structure”. They did research as a part of project work. As their research has gone in a positive way, the department encouraged the students to prepare an essay on the theme. Students prepared an essay and after thorough scrutiny by the faculty of department, the essay has been sent for International Journal”.
College principal, Dr. Ravi Kumar said that, “The College encourages students to take part in research activities than textual based learning. The students are ably supported by college management in the research activities. The college has been accreted ‘A’ grade by NAAC recently and the college has been consistently working to develop more research activities in the coming years”. He congratulated the students and faculty of ECE department.
Students thanked the college management and ECE department for their support and encouragement.
