RGUKT Andhra Pradesh admissions 2019 has been released. So far, there is no clarity on the inclusion of grace marks for rural government schools Class 10 pass outs.
The official notification of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (IIIT) admissions 2019-20 in Andhra Pradesh has been released today. The major reason for the delay in the notification is the lack of clarity on the inclusion of grace marks of 0.4 for students who have completed Class 10 in rural and village-level government schools. The idea was rolled out to give more opportunities for the merit students of government schools. However, a petition was filed in the court against the inclusion of grace marks.

RGUKT (IIIT) Application Fee 2019
The RGUKT application fee for OC and BC candidates is Rs.150 and Rs.100 for SC and ST candidates. An additional amount of Rs. 25.00 per application should be paid as service charges to the APOnline Centre. The RGUKT application fee can be paid in cash at APOnline service centre

IIIT Campuses in Andhra Pradesh
There are four IIIT campuses in Andhra Pradesh. The list of Andhra Pradesh IIIT campuses can be checked below:

Responding to the petition, the court has imposed a stay on the inclusion of grace marks for government school applicants. The Higher Education Chairman is yet to take a call on the inclusion of grace marks. As the final decision is still pending, the announcement of the official notification for IIIT (RGUKT) Andhra Pradesh admissions 2019 is delayed.
These institutes enrol students for the six-year B.Tech programme, and Class 10 is the minimum qualification for the same. Students aspiring for RGUKT admissions must have a 9.8 - 10 GPA for better admission chances. Students with 10 GPA in Class 10 (SSC) exams will have higher chances of securing admissions.

As the final decision on the inclusion of grace marks is yet to be sorted out, aspirants need to wait for some more days for the official notification. There are mixed reactions among students and parents on the inclusion of grace marks for rural government schools pass outs.
