RRB JE CBT 2 Recruitment 2019: Exam City and Date Intimation Link Available for Download

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) 2nd Stage of Junior Engineer recruitment Examination or RRB JE CBT 2  to announce Exam City and Date Intimation on September 9, 2019. 

RRB JE CBT Recruitment 2nd Stage

The Railway Recruitment Board will announce the RRB JE CBT 2 Exam City and Date Intimation today - September 9, 2019. The RRB JE CBT 2 Exam City and Date Intimation will be available for download today September 9 onwards. The RRB JE CBT 2 exam has been postponed due to controversies including a row over the result as well as alleged question paper leak. The applicants also claimed that because the RRB JE CBT 1 was only screening in nature, everyone who cleared the exam should be allowed to appear for the RRB JE BCBT 2 exam. If this technical glitch had not happened, approximately 2,02,616 candidates were eligible to appear for the CBT 2 exam, which was to be held originally held between August 29 and August 30, 2019. And candidates who would clear the CBT 2 would have been called for interview & document verification for 13,538 available posts at the designation of (JE), JE IT, depot material superintendent (DMS) and chemical and metallurgical assistant (CMA).

As per sources, the revised RRB JE CBT 2 exam will now be held on September 19, 2019 and the RRB JE CBT 2 admit card will be released on September 15, 2019.

The RRB JE CBT 1 result publication was released on August 14, 2019 by the Railway Recruitment Board according to the RRB Sources under CEN 03/2018. The test was conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode.

The total number of candidates who will be shortlisted for the 2nd Stage will be 15 times the total vacancy of Posts in respect of Community. The RRB will select the candidates as per their merit in 1st Stage of CBT. The candidate should keep in mind that the Indian Railways has all the rights to increase or decrease the prescribed limit in total or for any community-specific categories as required for ensuring availability of sufficient candidates for all the mentioned posts.

Exam Pattern for Railway Recruitment Board Junior Engineer (RRB JE CBT) 2019

For the examination which will be taken on 150 questions will have a duration of 120 minutes (2 Hours). 40 minutes of time will be given to the eligible physically disabled person (PwD) who is using the facility of a Scribe. The time limit for them is set to 160 minutes or 2:40 hours.

Objective type with multiple choices questions will dominate the Question Paper which is likely to include questions concerning to General Awareness, Basics of Computers and Applications, Physics and Chemistry, Basics of Technical Abilities, Environment and Pollution Control for the post. The syllabus for Basics of Computers and Applications, General Awareness, Basics of Environment, Pollution Control, Physics and Chemistry will be common for all.

As per the Railway Recruitment Board, the Question Pattern for RRB JE Recruitment 2019 2nd Stage CBT will be as per the following table.

Questions regarding Technical abilities will be raised in the syllabus defined for different Exam Groups given at the RRB released Annexure-VII in A, B, C, D, E, F and G.
