In Tamil Nadu, schools in districts such as Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Cuddalore, and Mayiladuthurai are likely to experience heavy rainfall, potentially leading to school closures. However, there is no official announcement on school holidays yet. Apart from that, schools in Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, and Nagapattinam might also declare a holiday on October 29, 2025.
