Admission Procedure-
The admission in school of library courses conducted by Central Library will be through the Common Entrance Test (CET) as prescribed/ decided by the University.

Eligibility for B.Lib.&I.Sc
A candidate seeking admission to the program must have passed a Bachelor’s degree examination in any discipline in second division of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidhalaya, Indore or any other Statutory University/Institute recognized as equivalent thereto by DAVV. The candidate must have attained the age at the time of admission as Prescribed by the university from time to time.
Courses Duration:
The Bachelor of Library and Information Science shall comprise of a course of study spread over a period of two semesters in one year duration. The candidates will be full time students of the course.
Admission Procedure:
The admission to the course shall be through written/interview examination as prescribed/decided by the university from time to time.
Eligibility for M.Lib.&I.Sc.
A candidate seeking admission to the program must have passed a Bachelor of Library and Information Science examination in second division of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore or any other Statutory University/Institute recognized as equivalent thereto by DAVV. The candidate must have attained the age at the time of admission as Prescribed by the Government of Madhya Pradesh and the University from time to time.

Fee Structure :
The fee structure for the proposed course is under self financing. The students will have to pay Semester Fees per semester. However the fees structure is subject to change by the Executive Council from time to time. Students are required to pay examination fee, enrolment fee and University / miscellaneous fee in addition to above. Central Library fee and caution money is also payable as prescribed by the university.
Reservation:-
The reservation of seats shall be as per M. P. Government Rules.
The University Central Library was established in the year 1964 along with the establishment of the university. The University Central Library is catering to the information needs of the academic community. The University Central Library has qualified experienced, devoted professional along with the latest information resources. The University Central Library is the leading library in the state in computerization and in providing Information Technology Enabled Services for the members. The University Central Library started the Bachelor of Library and Information Science Program from the year 1993-94, as a part of time course, with its goals to train the manpower to manage the libraries of the 21st century. The University Central Library upgraded the part time Bachelors programme into the Two Year Integrated Master of Library and Information Science Course from 2007-08.
