Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT)-M.Tech is being conducted ever year for the admission to M.Tech courses. The candidates can check the details related to selection and counselling procedure here.
Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT)-M.Tech Result:
- A list of successful candidates appearing in different programmes of AUAT 2017 will be displayed separately on the University website on the basis of scores in the written test.
- A separate list of successful candidates will also be prepared for the Physically Challenged (PC) candidates and Other states (OS) candidates.
- Admission to different programmes will be made through online counselling according to the rank in the merit list.
- A rank card, containing all relevant information regarding counselling, will be provided to all successful candidates at the time of publication of the result of AUAT-2017.
Counselling Process:
- To participate in the online counselling, the successful candidates will have to register themselves in University counselling portal (to be announced at the time of publication of the result) by paying a registration fee through online mode (credit/debit card/net banking). A registered candidate will be offered to put their preference of subjects accordingly.
- The online system will allot the candidates to different programmes according to their rank and preferences.
- After allotment, the candidates will be directed to visit the AUAT office in person to complete the verification and admission process within the stipulated time period.
- If a candidate fails to complete the admission process within stipulated time period, then the seats will be offered to the candidates next in rank.
- The Counselling Registration fee will be adjusted with the Admission fees / 1st-semester Tuition fees of the course in which the candidate is taking admission. But it is non-refundable for the candidates whose name is being shortlisted but remain absent at the admission within the stipulated time period OR his/her candidature is rejected in verification of documents.
- However, the candidates who will not be called for admission even after registration due to unavailability of seats, the entire registration fee will be refunded after deducting the bank transfer charges.
- The allotment offered in the online counselling is only a provisional allotment; the candidature of a candidate will be automatically cancelled, if he/she does not satisfy the eligibility criteria.
- If a successful candidate fails to register in the Counselling Portal within stipulated time, under no circumstances, the candidate will be allowed to take part in the admission process.
- Successful candidates, who have appeared in the qualifying examination in 2017, and whose final result has been published by the last date of e-counselling-registration, but could not secure marks of minimum eligibility, will not be allowed to register in the counselling portal.
- Successful appearing candidates, whose final result has not been published by the date of admission, will be allotted a conditional admission. He/She must produce the final result with satisfying eligibility within a month of admission, otherwise, his/her admission will be cancelled.
