Shivaji University Examination Time-Tabel Changed for MPSC Primary Exam.
Maharashtra Public Service Commission (Mumbai) Primary State Service Exam (2018) was held on Sunday 10 April. Due to clash in timings, Shivaji University has decided to change the time-table for its MPSC primary exam.
The change in time table will be applicable to the following courses & years:
- B.A.Sem -IV
- B.Sc Sem- II
- BCS Sem - V
- MBA Sem- IIM
- MBA Sem - III
Barring the above, Shivaji University will conduct the remaining exams for courses like B.A., B.Com, Bsc, M.A M.Sc, M.Com as per schedule.
Following the last minute change in schedule, students & teachers have been subject to a lot of confusion. However, the change in the exam schedule is being communicated to all students, teachers and invigilators. The university communicated that the new exam schedule will be announced soon. A Collectors' Compliance Notice has been given by the University. The only good thing to come out of this is the extra time for students to study.
Shivaji University offers Under-graduate, Post-graduate, Pos Graduate Diploma, Diploma & Certificate Programmes to its students. At present, University's efforts towards excellence are being recognised by the substantial grants received from funding agencies like UGC, DST, DBT etc and has recently signed MOU with Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai for research in Material Science. It has also joined hands with Indian Institute of Geo-Magnetism, Mumbai and industries like Phyto-Pharma. Prestigious institutes like Maharashtra Police Academy, Nashik and Centre for Social Studies, Surat have sought affiliation with the Shivaji University. Shivaji University has been re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Bangalore, with "A" Grade (CGPA-3.16) (2014).
