SPJIMR Introduces MBA Course for Women to Re-launch Career after Break

JobsForHer has collaborated with SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) for an 11-month postgraduate programme for women.The programme will provide women with a platform to re-launch their career in their respective field post a career break.

The PGMPW programme for women was launched January 2017 and is one of its kind that also offers residential facility to women. The programme offers specialisations in the following:

Information Management
Human Resource
Finance
Marketing
Operations Management

The programme includes both classroom and non-classroom sessions, training sessions and case studies. Apart from this, the PGMPW also provides each candidate with a mentor from their respective industry so that they can gain practical knowledge and connect to relevant networks. The application process will be done in online mode after which shortlisted candidates will be called for the group and personal interviews as the final selection criteria.

According to a survey, low confidence and outdated skills in their respective field are one of the biggest hindrances that keep women away from entering the workforce. Therefore, the PGMPW course is designed to build the skill set and leadership capabilities in women.

PGMPW Programme Course Module:

Pre-Foundation Course Module	Module 1	Module 2	Module 3
To facilitate transition it includes full-time work schedule in courses such as Finance, Economics and Accounting	It includes all general management courses from all domains.	It includes all specialization courses in subjects such as Finance, Human Resource, Operation and Supply, Information Management and others.	It is an integration phase and emphasis is given on developing leadership skills and individual coaching with ICF Certified coaches.

Last year around 20% of PGPMW class got pre-placement offers through the Corporate Internship Project. Around 11 companies participated in the Internship project.
