StartIn College Campaign to be Launched Today

A four phase national wide campaign ‘StartIn College’ will be launched today by SV.CO the world’s first digital incubator for students. The campaign will be launched initially in Kerala. The main motive of this campaign is to build student startups from various engineering colleges across the country.

The campaign will continue till November. It will be initially launched in the College of Engineering, Trivandrum. Under this campaign 50, top students’ teams will be selected for the SV.CO programme. These teams will select an idea and build a product. This product will be launched to the early customers in six months and last week in Silicon Valley located in the USA.

The Chairman of Startup Village Mr. Sanjay Vijay Kumar said that under the first phase six states would be covered. The six states are:-

  • Andhra Pradesh
  • Telangana
  • Tamil Nadu
  • Karnataka and
  • Gujarat

The campaign commences on 3-August-2016 as the engineering colleges are reopening after the summer vacation. The campaign will be rolled out in various states in the next three months.
