A final year CSE student of Malineni Perumal Engineering College got qualified for the National Level Kick Boxing Championship which is going to be held in Uttarakhand from 20 to 23-July-2016. On this occasion the college management conducted a press meet to congratulate and felicitate the student.
HOD of CSE department, Venkateswarlu gave the details. He said, “Annem Siva Reddy, a final year CSE student participated in State Level Students Olympic Games which was held in Machalipatnam, Krishna District last week. He participated in 75 Kilos category. A total number of 10 states participated in the competition and Annem Siva secured the first place in the Boxing category. He represented Andhra Pradesh and won the first place and got qualified for the national level championship. He has been always supported by the college management and department. The college management has given time for him to practice”. He congratulated the student.
College Director, Nageswara Rao felicitated Annem Siva Reddy with a medal and congratulated him. He conveyed his wishes for the national level competition.
Annem Siva Reddy said, “The college management, Department of CSE and my parents have always supported me. It is due to their motivation and support I have excelled in sports”. He mentioned special thanks to the physical director of his school who always supported him.
