Students from Gurgaon Emerged as Toppers
In this year’s ISC Exams, students from Gurgaon region have emerged as toppers. Three students, Adya Joshi, Prithvir Bhalla and Prabhav Chawla, all of Shri Ram School have emerged as top scorers in Class 12 ISC results.
Joshi is a resident of Ayachi Apartments in Sector 45, Gurgaon and successfully scored 100 in History, Political Science and Sociology; 99 in Economics and 96 in English.
Prithvir Bhalla, scored 100 in sociology, political science and economics; 96 in English and 98 in History and also secured 99 percent.
Another student secured the third position and got 98 per cent is a student of Shri Ram School (Aravalis) - reportedly the highest score in the science subject in the city.
These students have already done a full proof planning of their future and have their decisions clear in their mind. Joshi is appearing for Common Law Admission test this year, while Chawla has already made it to Georgia Institute of Technology. Bhalla, also plans to study abroad wants to pursue higher studies in political science and international relations.
About ISC Exams:
The Indian School Certificate (ISC) examinations are conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), for Grade 12 (i.e. 12th year of school). A student usually attempts this examination after first completing the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education in Grade 10, although the completion of a recognized equivalent level of education is normally sufficient. The examination has been designed to provide an evaluation in the field of general education. The exam criteria are in accordance with the recommendations of the Indian New Education Policy of 1986, through the medium of English and also regulated by University of Cambridge.
