As many as 83 students of the Modern Academy were given offer letters by companies like Hinduja, Airtel, Bajaj during the two-day campus placement programme which concluded on 23-February-2016.
This is considered to be an achievement by the institution, as so many students have been selected for interviews. Representatives of the companies and students said later that the communication skills taught in the academy have helped the selected candidates.
Many students of the academy emerged successful in the ICWA examination. They had achieved success while pursuing B.Com regular course. Academy chairman Sunkara Paparao congratulated the students for getting selected for the campus placement.
Meanwhile, the academy announced that it would launch B.Com(honours) course during the 2016-17 academic year for the first time in Vijayawada.
