R.Navaneet and P. Hariprasath, CSE students of Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (SREC), Coimbatore developed an advanced tracking device called “Track Ur Spot”. The device was displayed at the college premises. The device has all the advanced features than the devices available in the market. It has features like SOS alerts, fuel monitoring and geo-fencing. The product/device was launched by Manging Trustee of SNS Sons Charitable Trust, Vijayakumar.

On this occasion, the device was installed in the ambulance of Sri Ramakrishna Hospital and was integrated with an android application for real-time tracking of vehicles.

The management appreciated the students for incubating this idea and encouraged them to develop more devices which are beneficial to the society. Vijaykumar said that the tracking device would be installed in all the school and college buses run by the trust. Students thanked the college management for their motivation and support.
