Students of Telangana Nervous about Medical Counselling

The medical aspirants of Telangana are nervous about the medical counselling in the state. The government has cancelled EAMCET 2 exam due to the leakage of question paper in advance and decided to conduct re-exam (EAMCET 3).

The EAMCET 3 examination is going to take place on September 11, 2016. According to the guidelines issued by Medical Council of India (MCI), the process for filling up the medical seats have to be completed by September 30, 2016. At this juncture, it is difficult for the government to hold medical counselling and carry out the admission process by the deadline.

The officials of Kaloji Health University which conduct medical counselling mentioned that they are planning to approach Supreme Court to extend the date of filling up the admissions till October 15, 2016. For this purpose, the University has been preparing a draft to approach the state government. If the state government gives green signal to the draft, then the university will file a petition in the Supreme Court.

According to the schedule, the results of EAMCET 3 exam will be released on September 15, and the university can complete only first round of counselling and seat allotment by September 30. So, extending the date of filling up the admissions for MBBS/BDS courses is necessary for Telangana.

Cool, interesting and funny. An ardent lover of animals and gets a kick out of Chetan Bhagat and Amish Tripathi novels. My favourite novel is 'The God of Small Things' written by Arundathi Roy.
