The central placement cell of the Shivaji University, Kolhapur (SUK) and IT association of Kolhapur has organised a job fair on Monday, May 16 at its university campus. Over 400 job opportunities are up for grabs in the said job fair, said P N Bhosale, placement officer at SUK.
"The job fair will start from 9 am and will conclude on same day at 6 pm at the Department of Chemistry. The event is free of cost for all the participants. We have asked all the candidates to bring four copies of their resume along with five passport size photos."

Bhosale added that as many as 25 IT companies are going to be a part of this event, which is offering over 400 employment opportunities for both-fresher and experienced candidates.
A university official added that the university has learned a lot from its first job-fair event which was organised earlier in the month of January, this year, which had witnesses mismanagement and chaotic situation due to higher number of participants, leaving students go empty handed.
