The allotment is tentative and requires candidates to confirm it by September 11, 2025. After confirmation, the provisional allotment will be released at 7 PM on the same day. Candidates who receive a provisional allotment letter are required to join their designated university or college by September 13, 2025. To view their allotment status, candidates can log in to the admissions portal admissions.annauniv.edu using their User ID, date of birth, and captcha. Confirmation of the allotment is mandatory, and candidates must complete this step to secure their admission.

- Accept Allotted Seat : If you are satisfied with your allotted seat, select the "Accept" option to confirm your seat. By doing so, you are committing to take admission in the allotted seat.
- Accept with Upward Movement : If you want to retain the option of getting a higher-ordered seat in the next round, select the "Accept with Upward Movement" option. This means that if you receive a better allotment in the next round, you will lose your current allotment and be assigned the new one, and you will need to take admission in the new seat without retaining your previous one.
- Quit Counselling Process : If you are not satisfied with your allotted seat and do not want to continue with the counselling process, you can choose to quit. Please note that this option will terminate your participation in the counselling process.
