The government of Telangana has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to improve services of MANA TV, an educational channel for students in Telangana. The MoU was signed between the Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Communication of the state government and ISRO’s Development & Education Communication Unit (DECU).
Through this agreement, DECU would develop the content for MANA TV by using Satcom, so that it reaches the entire population of the state. Director of DECU, Mr. Virendra Kumar appreciated the efforts of the government which has taken the initiative to use space technology.
