Telangana’s Board of Secondary Education is likely to declare the results of Class 10 or Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination today i.e. 5th March'16 .
The board has not made any official announcement about the declaration of results yet. As soon as the results are declared they will be available on the official online website of the board. If the board declares the results today then will be declaring the results two weeks prior to the scheduled date.
Almost 5.56 lakh students appeared for the SSC examination which started from March 21st continued till April 9th. Out of the 5.56 lakh, 5.21 lakh students were regular candidates and 35,000 were failed candidates.
Candidates can check their result using the following steps:
- Go to the official website of the board
- Click on the link "SSC Results 2016"
- You need to keep your roll number handy to access the result
- You will get to see the result by providing the roll number and date of birth
- Save the result for future reference
Last year, about 5.13 lakh students appeared for the exams. It was the first SSC to be conducted after the formation of the separate Telangana state. The pass percentage in 2015 exams was 77.56, down from 85.77 in the united Andhra Pradesh in 2014.
Last year, the results were announced on May 17 but this time, the board plans to declare the results early so that the process of admissions into Class 11 is easy and completely hassle free.
The results in the neighbouring state Andhra Pradesh are also likely to be announced the same day.
The advanced supplementary examinations 2016 are likely to be conducted in the last week of May or first week of June.
