TG EAMCET 2026 May 10 Shift 1 Paper Review: Mathematics Tough; Difficulty Level at Par with JEE Main

TGCHE has once again surprised students with the JEE Main standard difficulty level in TG EAMCET 2026, May 10 Shift 1 question paper. The Mathematics section has been rated 'Tough' by students, followed by Physics. Here is the list of topics and question concepts asked in Shift 1.

TG EAMCET 2026 May 10 Shift 1 Paper: The Day 2 and Shift 1 of TG EAMCET 2026 May 10 exam concluded, and the CollegeDekho team has collected student reviews from Hyderabad and Warangal exam centres. Out of 20 reviews received, 15 students rated the paper as 'Tough', with Mathematics turning out to be the 'toughest subject'. On the other hand, Physics was no exception with atleast 12-13 tough questions out of 40.

For the second consecutive day, the TG EAMCET 2026 exam continued to be tough, causing nervousness among students appearing for the exam on May 11. Students who prepared well for the JEE Mains exam found the May 10 Shift 1 paper Moderate. TGCHE shall implement the normalization process, and the tentative scores of students might change. If compared to the May 9 Shift 2 question paper , May 10 Shift 1 is slightly better with respect to difficulty level. Students who shared reviews with CollegeDekho indicated that they were scoring between 60 to 80 marks in the TG EAMCET 2026 .

TG EAMCET 2026 May 10 Shift 1 Student Reviews

Kesav from Hyderabad and Yamini from Warangal shared that the paper was relatively tougher than the previous year. Mathematics was the toughest in the lot with almost 23-25 tough questions. While Kesav scored 64 marks in this shift, Yamini scored 72 marks. The display of tentative scores after the submission of the exam is a sigh of relief to students.

Bhaskar and Harsha from Hyderabad shared that the paper was 'Tough', and the Chemistry section was the only major sigh of relief. The Mathematics part had atleast 19-20 tough questions that were not only lengthy but also tricky. Phyiscs was slightly tougher than previous years' question papers.
