KIC-Knowledge Incubation Cell at IITG functions as a multi disciplinary as well as interdisciplinary Innovation Incubation Centre with Knowledge Management as its focus. It is actively involved in the area of improving the quality of technical education.
Topics to be covered:
The short term course will include the following themes
•Transition metal catalyzed small molecule activation and functionalization
•Bio-inspired and enzymatic catalysis
•Catalysis for green and sustainable chemistry
•Heterogeneous catalysts for energy and environmental applications
•Applications of organometallic compounds in fine chemical synthesis via catalysis
•Computational tools for advanced catalysis
Participation in this short term course will provide sufficient expertise to teachers who wish to design new UG and PG level courses based on the above themes.
