Tata Institute of Social Sciences Guwahati will organize a walkathon on Tuesday, March 8 to mark the occasion of International Women’s Day. The theme for this walkathon will be gender parity to support equal pay for equal work.
This walkathon, as said by sources, will be an inter-college event. The event is scheduled to start from 7.30 a.m and end at 9:30 am on MArch 8, 2016. Many guests including well-known NGO’s have been invited to take part in the walkathon.
