Anna University has now opened the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) random number window 2017. The TNEA 2017 rank lists are likely to be released on 22 June.
With this process, nearly 1.5 Lakh engineering students will be able to get enrolled in various engineering colleges of the state through single window counselling where students will be assigned random numbers.
Earlier it was reported that around 1.25 lakh students have applied to seek admission into engineering courses through single window counselling this year and it is expected that the registrations can increase up to 1.3 lakh.

Anna University will commence TNEA 2017 counselling from 27 June and will continue till 31 July. Approximately 2.7 lakh seats are available in 523 colleges of Tamil Nadu. These affiliated colleges will start to function from 1 August.
The students eagerly waiting for their random numbers can view the same online through the following steps,
Go to the official Anna University website for the Random Number and Rank list.
Click on the link "Random Number" on the homepage.
Log on with the required credentials ( email ID, password and mentioned verification code)
After clicking on "Submit", a candidate will be allocated a random number.
Save the same and do not forget to take its print out for further reference.

TNEA counselling registration started from 1 May and the last date for filling the application form and registration was May 31. The filled-in online application forms were accepted until 3 June by the University.
