Candidates can check out the official schedule at tneaonline.org or find the same attached on the page below. According to the schedule released, choice filling begins on July 26, and the tentative seat allotment will be released on July 29, while the provisional allotment is on July 31. Candidates can check out the dates for all other counselling events on the page below. Do note that only those candidates who have secured a rank from 39,146 to 1,37,710 are only eligible for Round 2 of the counselling process.

When filling out college and course preferences, candidates must check the availability of seats in each college and prioritise their choices based on their rank. Since there is no limit on the number of college options, candidates should take advantage of this by adding as many colleges as possible to increase their chances of admission and avoid the risk of not being allocated a seat by the end of the counselling process. After filling out their preferences, candidates must lock their choices to ensure they are submitted to the authorities; otherwise, their choices won't be considered. The tentative allotment will be released based on seat availability, rank, and preference. Candidates will then need to confirm their allotment within the stipulated timeframe to have their name included in the provisional allotment list. Finally, the admission procedure will be conducted based on the provisional allotment.
