Tripura TET 2022 Eligibility Criteria, Age Limit and Qualification

Tripura TET 2022 Eligibility Criteria: The Teachers Recruitment Board Tripura (TRBT) has recently released the official Tripura TET notification for the Tripura TET 2022 exam. The aspirants will be able to fill out the online application forms for the TET 2022 exam from 14th November 2022. The notification has mentioned the detailed eligibility criteria for Tripura Teacher Eligibility Test 2022 for both papers. Here we have shared the complete eligibility requirements, age limit, and educational qualification for Tripura TET 2022.

The TRBT will conduct the Tripura TET exam on the 29th and 30th of December 2022 to approve the eligibility for teaching aspirants in state government schools.

Tripura TET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Based on Eligibility Criteria, candidates can apply in the Tripura Teachers Eligibility Test 2022. The applicants can apply for papers 1 and 2 only if they fulfil the eligibility requirements

Tripura TET 2022 Eligibility: Paper 1

• The applicant must have completed Class 12th with a minimum 50% marks aggregate in any discipline AND a mandatory 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR

• Completed Class 12th with a minimum 45% marks aggregate AND a mandatory 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education approved by the NCTE OR

• Completed Class 12th with a minimum 50% marks in any discipline and graduated in a Bachelor of Elementary Education (4 years) from a recognised university OR

• Completed Class 12th from a recognised board and the applicant must have completed a mandatory Diploma in Special Education of 2 years OR

• Completed graduation from a recognised university AND a Diploma of Elementary Education

• The reserved category applicants will get appropriate relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks as per the official Tripura TET Notification

Tripura TET 2022 Eligibility: Paper 2

• Completed graduation AND a diploma in elementary education of two years OR

• Completed graduation with a minimum 50% marks aggregate AND completed B.Ed from a recognised university OR

• Completed graduation with a minimum 50% marks aggregate AND completed B.Ed as per the norms by NCTE OR

• Completed Class 12th with a minimum 50% aggregate marks in any discipline AND completed Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR

• Completed Class 12th with a minimum 50% aggregate marks in any discipline AND 4 years B.A-B. Ed/ B. Sc-B. Ed 

• The reserved category applicants will get appropriate relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks as per the official Tripura TET Notification

Tripura TET 2022 Age Limit:

• The maximum age limit for Tripura TET 2022 exam is 40 years for general/Unreserved category candidates
• SC/ST/PH applicants have the 5 years upper age limit additional relaxation as per the Teachers Recruitment Board Tripura
