With the release of the TS EAMCET 2022 Results, candidates often seek answers to a question, as to what are the qualifying marks. Some candidates perform well and some don’t. Although there is no particular minimum qualifying mark for ST/SC, the seats are limited and only the best candidates will qualify. TS EAMCET ranks the candidates based on their performances. And on the candidates with the top ranks will qualify for the seats available. TS EAMCET also normalises the question paper to determine the rank of the candidates. The TS EAMCET 2022 Rank Card will be released by the authorities. Based on the ranks, colleges will take admissions. 

TS EAMCET Qualifying Marks 2022: Normalisation Process

The normalisation process for TS EAMCET 2022 is conducted by the authorities. Although the TS EAMCET Qualifying Marks 2022 is specified for general category candidates, to avoid any advantage or disadvantage of the candidates, the normalisation process is done. Since the exams are conducted in different shifts the difficulty level of the question paper differs. Although utmost care is taken to maintain a similar difficulty level, there are some highs and lows. Hence, this formula is used to normalise TS EAMCET 2022 scores: 

TS EAMCET Normalised score = GASD + (GTA – GASD) / (GTA + GASD) x (Marks obtained by the candidate in the subject in a session − SASD).
